LOVED TO HOP ON OUR NEWLY TRANSFORMED RIDE ON LAWN MOWER AND NOW IT IS A TRACTOR WITH A LITTLE TRAILER ATTACHED TO IT..A FUN LITTLE THING FOR THE KIDS TO PLAY AROUND WITH WHEN THEY COME DOWN TO OUR PLACE. I KNOW IT WILL BE ALOT OF FUN..

My photo that made it into the Examiner..

I just love looking out of my kitchen window every morning and this one morning I saw this magnificent view. So I quickly ran for my camera and took this photo.
My sister in law and friends nudged me into sending this into the local newspaper, so I  said I'll give it a go..about 2 weeks later my husband walked into the bedroom and showed me the newspaper and there it was...I wished it was bigger so you all could see a better picture of it...anyway I might be trying another photo in the very near future..

Roses are Red

Just playing around on the computer and I did this for the first time..the roses are out of my garden..

Our trip to the mountains with Maurice and Corey

On Saturday after our chores Mark and I took Maurice and Corey up to the mountains..it was snowing softly and so we got out of the car and played in the snow for abit..was just so beautiful just watching the snow fall all around us and even though it was cold the sun was out and you could feel abit of the warmth on your body..

Corey was running around so much he decided to take his jumper off and run around in the snow..as you can tell by the photos..

 I love the snow that just settled on to the rocks it looked so beautiful and peaceful..

 Corey didn't lie down for too long because he was feeling the cold..I think he tried to make a snow angelllol

 No way was I going to take my hood off..mind you underneath the coat I had about 4 layers of clothing..

My snow man was soooo small..Mark told me to make it on the bench..lol

Enjoying the sun while it lasted....

Tyren who turned out to be a real water baby..but he has to have his floaties on..

Donnacha who didnt really want to go right into the water..so he was happy just wading by the edge..

I was a big chicken..that was as far as I could go..it was too cold to get right under..but they all kept saying "Once your in Jackie its beautiful and warm":)

Tyren loved to get into the water but loved getting out..even though he was shaking like a leaf lol

As you can see the kids loved every minute of their time down the river...we were lucky to get some sunny days for a few days so we went down the river almost every day.. Oh to be young again..

Well I'm going to do it finally..I'm going to do up a my food blog and I will have pictures and recipes so that people can follow and hopefully make it also..

I'm so looking forward to doing up my recipe book too..its taking me along time to put it all together but I hope it goes well..

Just check out my blog and I will hopefully have a name for it..

Well you all would of seen this on FB page..I just had to put it on my blog because Charna(my grand daughter) help me bake this cake..

Gosh it was so yummy and I made a really nice chocolate ganashe for the icing..Charna calls this our "Rainbow Cake"..she kinda got carried away with the food colour but, it turned out quite pretty ( I must say)..

Anyway, it didnt last a day because we had visitors galore so it came in handy.. Hmmmmm I wonder what next will we be baking when she comes down again???

I loved it and we had alot of fun making it..
